My Four Miraculous Treasures

Willow was starting to choke. She clutched at Jasper's hand, trying to break free...

Her pretty little face scrunched up from the pain. "M-M-Mr Hughes... I'm just here... to do some... cleaning!"

"What a time for it, too!" Jasper growled, tossing her to the floor.

He certainly hadn't seen her cleaning much of anything the whole day... but now, at the end of the work day, what was she doing, sneaking around up here like this?

Obviously, after everyone else had left the building, she meant to use this prime opportunity to seduce him!

Earlier today, she'd suddenly come in to wipe his desk, while putting herself within his reach the whole time... before pretending to trip over, so that she could throw herself onto him! What else could she have done that for?!

She hadn't managed to pull it off earlier... so she'd come to make a repeat attempt!

Jasper had zero respect for women who tried to use sex to climb higher in station. They could come out with all the dirtiest tricks to help them get their way!

Willow rubbed at her throat to try and ease the pain.

"You can just forget about it," Jasper snarled at her. "I'm not so easily seduced!"noveldrama

And with that, he strode off on towering legs.

Willow sat there on the floor, sulking in self-pity for a long while.

Seduction?! When did she ever do anything like that?! At which point had she done anything even remotely resembling seduction?!

She was here for honest work, and nothing more! If not for Mr Fawcett's orders to wait on Jasper so she could clean up after him... she'd already be back at her apartment, spending time with her four adorable children! As though she had any interest in that grumpy face!

Willow decided to channel her pent-up frustrations into her work. Soon, the CEO's office was spick-and-span.

Then she caught sight of the camera in the corner.

So there was a security camera in here, too.

If she could get her hands on the camera recordings, she might be able to prove that she hadn't actually heard Edith and Jasper talking. She'd only caught sight of them

together for a moment...

Then she'd be able to prove her own innocence, and clear her name! No more suspicions about her being the company gossip rag!

After all, the truth was that she

hadn't heard a single word between them, that night. What could she possibly have to say about it?

Not that she would have said anything! That wasn't her style.

Therefore, she wouldn't suffer this accusation out of nowhere! No, she wouldn't bear this injustice!

A security camera within the CEO's office... it had to be controlled from Jasper's own computer!

So all she needed to do was get him to look through those recordings himself... and then the truth would be laid bare!

Yes, she'd persuade him to do exactly that... tomorrow!

Willow stumbled into her apartment like a zombie. It had been an especially tiring day.

However, no matter how tired she got...

"I'm home."

"Mommy, you're back! I missed you

so muy came running up to

her in a flurry of tiny legs, to grasp her hands softly, yet warmly

The touch of those little hands melted Willow's heart away. Suddenly, she was smiling. "Were you a good girl, today?" Hailey nodded. "Yeah! The goodest!"

"We were all very good today!" her three other children chorused.

Beaming from ear-to-ear, Willow went over to the sofa and plopped herself down onto it. "Mommy's totally exhausted."
