The unwanted wife’s unexpected comeback

Chapter 669

Chapter 669:

“After I’m gone, my ghost will hover over your bed every night, just to see if he satisfies you more than I did.”

Alicia retorted, unbothered, “Why just hover? Why not possess him so you can both join in? I’ve never had a ghostly encounter before!”

Caden sneered, “You think you’ll enjoy life after I’m gone? Keep dreaming. Besides, I have talents he lacks. How many men can match my stamina and size?”

Alicia almost laughed at his vanity.

He was drunk and felt indestructible.

If he was that wonderful, why didn’t he go become an adult movie actor?

Caring for him seemed like a wasted effort.

His biting comments didn’t suit someone with a stomach ache.

Whether he caught a cold or not was no longer her concern.

Alicia stormed into the bedroom and slammed the door behind her.

Caden shut his eyes, resolute in his stubbornness.

Eventually, Gerry called.

He sounded more sober.

“Caden, have you made it home?”

Caden, feeling down, responded, “Yeah, I’m home. Do you really think I’d get lost?”

Gerry answered, “I was just concerned you might run into trouble after all those drinks. There are all sorts of weirdos out there.”

Caden cleared his throat, a touch of pride in his voice, saying, “No need to worry, Alicia drove me.”

Gerry, curious, asked, “So, did you guys patch things up already?”

“No, she’s trying to win me over.”

Before he could continue, Alicia abruptly opened the bedroom door.

Caden quickly ended the call and tried to go back to sleep.

He assumed she was coming to check on him, but instead, she just tossed a set of men’s pajamas out of the room and closed the door again.

Caden felt even more overwhelmed. His stomach churned, his head spun, and his clothes were cold and damp.

Then, the dog jogged over, grabbed the pajamas, and carried them to its bed.

Caden watched it coldly.

The dog seemed to enjoy the scent on the pajamas, snuggling into them happily.

Annoyed, Caden walked over and shooed the dog away.

The dog backed off, looking puzzled.

Caden intended to pick up the pajamas, especially since Alicia had purchased them as part of a matching set. They were very comfortable.

However, now that the dog had been all over them, his need for cleanliness made him hesitate.noveldrama

His frustration grew.

Clearly, she was in the wrong, yet she was acting tough, even tossing clothes at him as if to provoke him.
