When They Beg, I Rise!

Chapter 435

Orion stood at the doorway, looking like the Grim Reaper himself.

The folks from TG Group were completely taken aback at the sight of him.

What was the Everhart heir doing here?

The woman leading the group was especially flustered.

Orion's face was a stormy shade of gray: "Get out!"

The woman hurriedly tried to explain, "We're here on business, dealing with..."

Orion's hand whipped back, hurling a mug from the table at them: "Get out, don't make me say it a third time!"

The woman, unwilling to give up just yet, attempted to speak again when her colleague grabbed her: "Let's go."

Didn't they see Mr. Everhart's furious expression?

Lemira, noticing his mood, quickly said to the woman, "Whatever manager you are, I don't care who's backing TG Group, but I absolutely won't cooperate with any statement you're planning." The woman looked at Lemira in surprise: "Don't you know who he is..."

Orion's cold gaze swept towards the woman, filled with warning.

The woman was dragged out by her colleagues, knowing if they stayed any longer, they'd probably be resigning from their jobs at the personnel department tomorrow.

Lemira glanced at the departing trio: "They must be the PR team hired by Caspian, heard they're quite formidable. Having the Everhart family as their backing." "Don't worry about it, TG won't be taking this case."

Orion's tone was firm as he laid out some food on the table: "Eat something."

Lemira glanced at him cautiously: "You mean, reach out to Matthew?"

She knew Orion was on good terms with both Thaddeus and Matthew, maybe they could pull some strings.

She faced Orion: "I have an idea."

Orion handed her the utensils: "Let's hear it."

"I could hire TG Group as my PR team, paying them as agreed, so as not to put Matthew in a tough spot, what do you think?"

Orion looked at her deeply: "Eat first."

"You don't think it's a good idea?"

"I'll contact Matthew, you eat something first."

Lemira then began to eat, her right hand injured, making it difficult to use her left.

She found it hard to pick up food, often dropping it.

"Clumsy, now you realize it's inconvenient?"

Orion took the food container, feeding her himself.

Lemira paused: "Could you possibly lower yourself a bit? You make

"Quite the list of demands."

Though Orion said this, he still crouched in front of Lemira.

She glanced at the man before her, her gaze darting away.

After a few bites, Lemira shook her head: "I can't eat anymore." "Rest well."

"But I saw the TG Group people haven't left."

Lemira had noticed the trio still outside, likely not leaving without a fuss.

Orion calmly passed her a napkin: "I'll handle it, you rest."

"But..."

"Lemira, how about trying to rely on me for once?"

His gaze was intense, overwhelming Lemira.noveldrama

She coughed, turning her head: "But I can't always depend on you."

"Why not?"

Lemira's cheeks warmed considerably: "Are you confessing to me?"

She wasn't naive, sensing a change in Orion's attitude over time.

Orion flicked her forehead: "I thought you didn't get it?"

He stood up: "I just thought you were too young, but now, I can wait."

He couldn't stand to witness today's events ever again.

Lemira blurted out: "You don't have to wait."

She spoke, feeling her face burning.

Orion's lips curved slightly: "At least wait until I deal with the people outside."
