Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 1280

Oh, how foolish she had been!

Thinking back now, she could've just asked a lot of the things, and it would've been completely different now! But in reality, it was her first time living with a man as well. Being introverted coupled with having trouble mingling with others, he was genuine like a familiar stranger to her even when he was her man!

It was said that one's personality decides their fate. Right then, Lauren felt really grateful for her change. Having Yvette in her life changed her a lot. Sometimes, she had to speak more to keep an optimistic image to comfort her daughter.

Despite the saying, a leopard can't change its spots; anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Though her personality was still flawed, her temperament had improved immensely.

Right then, even Lauren had to admit, it really takes two to tango, or things wouldn't end up like they were now!

Lowering her head, she couldn't help frustratingly look at herself. "I thought you guys all liked soft-spoken women with delicate makeup and long flowy hair..."

She was none of those.

Shocked that she thought that way, he affectionately rubbed her cushiony earlobe.

"Oh, you silly girl! You really are a silly girl! Who'd stupidly say something they detest every day? He'd only be annoying himself, wouldn't he? I call you a tomboy because everything about you, your looks, temperament, agility, and talent, is comparable to a man; it's a pet name! I don't know if it's because many women pestered me or that I am abnormal by nature; your aloofness and boyish appearance are deathly attractive to me! Laurie, I may have been attracted to you because of your appearance and unique talent, but I want you now only because you're you! The blind date was a misunderstanding. I did book the twins from East Bannpool, but that's for business, not for myself! I've never touched any women apart from Tevye in the last three years. I was this close to thinking I'd live like the living dead for the rest of my life..."

Willy earnestly said as he brushed his fingers through her now much longer hair.

"You can change your appearance, your character, you can even get a new identity, but everything leaves a trace in this world! Do you know you have a protruding mole between your hair?"

As his hand stopped, Lauren reached for the spot and couldn't help widening her eyes. It was a mole?

She could sometimes feel it when she washed her hair, but then again, it was grown on her scalp, so she never put too much thought into it, much less see it!

"You don't know, do you? But I do! Because you're mine. You have a lot of markings belonging to only you that I know of, yet you might not necessarily do..."

Lauren was at a loss for words.

So he decided to take their relationship a step further not because of Tevye's seduction or his primal instincts, but because he had a feeling she was Lauren?

A majority of her grievances had been straightened, having that revelation, and her state of mind had become much different then. Willy held the back of her head and pressed her to his chest.

"Laurie, I'm sorry! Thank you for raising Yvette so well! Will you give me another chance for her sake? I love you and our baby. Whatever I did wrong, I'll do better next time! I won't make you cry ever again! Whether you're Lauren or Tevye, I won't hurt your or our baby girl. Please don't hate me anymore! I never had a good night's sleep in the last three years. Never had there been a day that I never thought about you two... Do you know how scared I was to possibly hear that you and Yvette are dead when I can't find you..."

Feeling the molten hot and suffocating pressure, Lauren's frozen heart couldn't help stirring again, and she subconsciously grabbed his shirt, nuzzling into his arms, absorbing his warmth.

"We've wasted too much time. One year, based on our feelings. If things work out between us, we'll stay together; if not, we'll separate. No matter how this ends, you can't fight for Yvette's custody with me!"

"Okay!"

Willy nodded and planted a deep kiss on her forehead.

Lauren's gaze turned doubtful as she looked up at him. "That's it? You're not going to even consider for one second? You're not already scheming against me, are you?"

Willy grazed her nose as he tittered, this time, elated. "I don't need to think! Yvette's yours, and you're mine! This time, I won't let go even if I die!"

Much less make the same mistake!

Willy nuzzled against her forehead.

"Laurie, let's deal with whatever comes between us; don't leave me so easily, please? I can give you happiness! Give me some time; I can give you whatever you want! Don't leave me again..."

He had a child! His emotions were beyond words right then, suddenly having another two significant women in his life. Oh, how he wished he could tell the whole world the good news there and then!

"Okay!"

She didn't mind giving their relationship another shot if it could give Yvette a complete family and make her happy.

That night, the two spoke for a long time before going to bed, hugging each other, filled with endless love.

Willy was roused by a gentle kick the

following morning. Right as he opened his eyes, he saw their little one wedging herself between him and Lauren, wrapping Lauren up like an octopus as she kicked him and shoved his arm away.

Still half asleep, he could feel her upset kicks as she grumbled, "Go away! Don't touch my mommy! She's mine..."

Yvette's voice was muffled, whispering as softly as she could, seemingly afraid of stirring Lauren.

Willy's heart bubbled with happiness as he looked at his bubbly, sensible daughter despite her mussed hair. "I won't steal Mommy away from you, Yvette. I'll only love and cherish you like she does, okay?" noveldrama

"No! You're a bad man, a big bad wolf! Big bad wolves always lie to children! I won't believe you! Stay away from my mommy!"

Lauren saw Yvette nuzzling against

her while her feet pushed against Willy's chest as soon as she opened her eyes. Seeing that the two already butt heads bright and early, she felt quite helpless. With that, she ruffled Yvette's hair and kissed her forehead.

"Morning, baby girl!"

"Morning, Mommy!"

After throwing herself into Lauren's arms, Yvette laid quietly on top of her, no longer making a fuss! Lauren took a knowing look at Willy before hugging Yvette, soothing her for a while.

"Have you greeted Daddy 'good morning' yet?"

Willy's eyes were full of expectation. However, Yvette buried her face in Lauren's arms, protesting with silence!
