Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 1329

Sydney was holding a book, flipping through its pages, completely ignoring the person by her hospital bed. Christopher, however, was not bothered by Sydney's indifference to him and continued to sit there, watching her.

Sydney finally closed the book and asked, "How long are you going to keep staring at me? Mr. Jackson, aren't you busy?" "No matter how busy I am, I still have time," Christopher replied. "Today, I happened to have free time, so I came to see you."

"You manage to free up time every day." Sydney frowned, becoming somewhat impatient. "We've already broken up."

"I know, but I still want to see you," he said. He had almost lost her and now, more than ever, he treasured her. He wished he could see her every day, regardless of whether they had broken up.

Seeing that there was no way to reason with him, Sydney sighed. "What do you want?"

"I just want to see you and keep you company, nothing else. I was very worried when you were in trouble, but now that you're safe, I feel relieved." Sydney had already found out what happened, and she hadn't expected so many important events to have occurred while she was unconscious.

The Spencer family had nearly been destroyed.

Sydney sighed. "I'm glad they're fine now."noveldrama

"It's normal that you're worried about Theodore, but are you still worried about Wesley?"

"None of your business," Sydney said coldly. "Don't forget what your mother did to me. Although this has nothing to do with you, you still covered up for her."

Christopher lowered his gaze, and a flicker of guilt seemed to flash in his eyes. "Do you hate me?"

"It doesn't make a difference. I don't want to see you either way."

At that moment, Rosalie and Theodore walked in. Steve was in Rosalie's arms.

Rosalie had just learned about her true identity, and noticed that Christopher wasn't as composed as before.

"I came to see Sydney," Christopher said. "She's recovering well."

Theodore didn't say anything and walked over to Sydney. "Mom, how are you feeling?"

Sydney nodded. "I'm doing fine."

She turned to look at the child. "Steve is here too. Come over and let me have a look."

Rosalie gently placed Steve by Sydney's bed.

"What a cute child."

Previously, Sydney had kept the matter of Theodore's child a secret, and she felt deeply guilty about it.. Even now, she still hadn't told Theodore that she had known about Rosalie's pregnancy with his child for quite some time.

Rosalie hadn't told Theodore either, since Sydney had kept the secret for her. Bringing it up now would only add to their worries.

"I had originally thought it was Seb's child, but it turns out it's your child, Theo."

Upon hearing the name Sebastian, Theodore frowned slightly. "Mom, why do you keep calling him Seb? Are you very close to him?"

Sydney smiled faintly. "It just rolls off my tongue. There's no other reason. But how is he doing recently?"

Hearing Sydney suddenly ask about Sebastian, Theodore wasn't sure how to respond. He turned to look at Christopher. "You should ask him."

"Seb is doing fine," Christopher replied.

"I see." Sydney nodded. She didn't

dare show too much concern for et Sebastian in front of them, before

she

still couldn't help it sometimes. After all, Sebastian was her son.

Christopher seemed to notice something, his eyes flashing with confusion, but he didn't say anything.

"Well, I'll leave now. I'll come visit you next time," Christoper said, then left the ward.

"Mom, why are you suddenly

concerned about Sebastian? If someone didn't know, they'd think you had some sort of relationship with him," Theodore said.

Theodore had a nagging feeling that something wasn't right. His mother had been acting strangely for a while now.
