Chapter 1330
Sydney concealed the guilt in her eyes. "No, I was just asking casually. There's nothing to it."
"Mom, Sebastian has tried to kill me multiple times! I won't let him off easily."
Sydney inhaled sharply, feeling a pang of discomfort. She opened her mouth, about to say something, but the words caught in her throat. She couldn't speak up for Sebastian in front of Theodore; that would be too obvious.
"Theo, I hope you stay safe and don't put yourself in danger again."
She truly didn't want her two sons to hurt each other. For her, it would be a disaster if anything happened to either of them.
"I won't put myself in danger. From now on, I'll be on guard a hundred times more against Sebastian. He better not give me any reason to take action."
Seeing the coldness in Theodore's eyes, Sydney didn't dare say more. The words she was about to speak were swallowed down.
After visiting Sydney, Theodore walked out holding Steve, with Rosalie following behind him.
In the hallway, she said, "Theodore, Yerick showed me a video before. It showed what Sebastian did to you after you were shot by an arrow. He tried to kill you. I don't know if we can find that video somewhere."
"I'm not sure either. Only Yerick knows," Theodore replied.
"Should we ask him?" Rosalie suggested. "If he's willing to give us the video, it could serve as evidence of Sebastian trying to harm you."
Theodore thought for a moment and then nodded. "I'll have someone ask him."
That same day, Theodore sent someone to the prison to find Yerick. Yerick did indeed have the video, but he wasn't willing to hand it over. He insisted on seeing Rosalie first.
Yerick was guilty of major crimes and was sentenced to life imprisonment. Nothing could threaten him anymore, and he wasn't afraid of death. Moreover, he had been using his own body for experiments. Now, his health was failing, and he didn't have much longer to live.
When Theodore found out that
Yerick only wanted to speak to Rosalie before he would give the video, he didn't want to tell Rosalie about it. He didn't want to put any pressure on her. He also didn't want her to meet the person who had harmed her. So, he kept it from her, only telling her that Yerick refused to give up the video when she inquired.
But after Rosalie pressed him further, she finally learned that Yerick wanted to meet her.
Rosalie really didn't want to see him, but for Theodore's sake, she decided to go and meet Yerick after some consideration. She chose a day to go to the prison.
Rosalie and Yerick sat facing each other, separated by a glass wall.
It had been a while since they last met, and Yerick had lost a lot of
weight She heard he had been
receiving treatment recently, though it seemed it hadn't worked
Rosalie took a deep breath and then picked up the phone, putting it to her ear.
Yerick picked up the phone as well. "Rose, it's been a while. Feels like ages. I missed you so much."
"Yerick, where's the video?"
"You're so eager to get the video for Theodore the moment we meet," Yerick said.noveldrama
"Do you think I came here to see you otherwise?"
"That really hurts," Yerick said,

sounding disappointed. "Rose, I heard that Justin didn't die because the bullet was defective. That guy really is lucky."
Rosalie snorted coldly. "You've been keeping up, huh?"
"Rose," Yerick said with a smile, "Since Justin didn't die, now you'll be faced with a tough choice. Which one of these two will you choose?"
Rosalie tightened her grip on the phone. "I don't want to waste time with you. I came because you wanted to see me. Now, tell me where the video
is."
What do you think?
