Joe gave a brief hum of acknowledgment as the car pulled over. Lucas quickly retrieved the hangover medicine and handed it to him.

Only after Joe had taken the medicine did Lucas start the car again. At this hour, there was hardly any traffic or people on the road, making the journey smooth and uninterrupted.

"It's shameful. Do you want the media to see you like this? Are you ready to lose your reputation? What will you do then?" Lucas scolded, hoping to drive Elsie away with his words.

The woman was a real headache to deal with But Elsie only continued to stare intently at the car. "I have to see him today. I have a lot to say. If you want me to move, there's only one way-run me over."
