At first, Ruth hadn't fully grasped the severity of her situation. But as the days passed, the reality became unmistakably clear.

"What did you say? I've already acknowledged my mistake. Why are you still being so unforgiving? Wait a second... I'm also a victim here.

"It was Jed-he threatened me and forced me to help him abduct Mona. It wasn't my idea. I'm innocent!" Ruth shouted, panic in her voice, hoping to get Skylar's help.

But Skylar was too relentless. She refused to help and even took pleasure in making things worse, wanting Ruth to stay behind bars.
